Host Surf UK LTD reserves the right to modify, add or delete any parts of these terms without notice. You agree to abide by any changes made by Host Surf UK LTD. These terms defines the rules that must be followed by those who make us of our products and services, or intend to make use of our products including, but not limited to: Shared hosting and Reseller Hosting, Managed VPS, Dedicated, Domain Registration, Transfers, Renewals, SSL Certificates.
New Accounts
All shared hosting accounts are setup instantly upon payment being recieved. Reseller hosting is setup within 24 hours upon payment being recieved. A welcome email with your login details will be sent once the account has been successfully setup.
Domain Names & Free Domain Names
Host Surf UK will take nessary steps to register a customers domain name but only on request. All new and existing customers can benefit from a free domain if ordered with any of our hosting packages and paid annually. Customers are limited to one free domain per account, the package must be kept for a minimum of 3 months in order for you to keep the domain and transfer it to a new host should you wish to. If the package is kept for under this we reserve the right to resell your domain or charge in full for the domain registration. For your domain to point to Host Surf UK servers you must change the name servers at your registrar. The name servers will be found in your welcome email along with name server IP's. If you have any problems or questions with DNS for your domain please open a support ticket.
Complaint
Should a user feel the need to make a complaint about a website you know we host, with regards to violating our terms and conditions. They can either contact us by email: abuse@hostsurfuk.com, or opening a support ticket and choosing the "Abuse Department " stating the website and the violation they are committing. All complaints will be dealt with professionally and quickly.
Refund Policy & 30 Day Money Back Guarantee
All new customers on Shared Hosting or Reseller Hosting, VPS, dedicated server packages can request a refund within 30 days of signup date. This applies to all payment terms, monthly, semi annually and annually. Refunds are not available for any domain registration, SSL Certificates, domain transfers. If the product in question is not the customer’s first order, they will not be entitled to a guarantee and a refund will only be granted at the discretion of the Host Surf UK LTD. If a user has previously requested a refund with the 7 days of previously ordering a product, they are required to wait 12 months before they may request another refund within the refund deadline on any products they order. Credit on your account cannot be refunded and must be used for purchases and renewals with Host Surf UK. Accounts purchased under a promotion, with or without a promo code, are excluded from the 30 day money back guarantee. No refunds will be made if we terminate your hosting or other services due to violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or any other violation of our Terms and Conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights. Any funds sent to Host Surf UK which are in excess of the amount owed can only be reimbursed in credit and cannot be refunded.
Billing & Payments
We accept all majour credit cards, PayPal, MoneyBookers, 2Checkout for payment of hosting services. Subscription payments setup through PayPal, MoneyBookers, 2Checkout are the clients responcibility. If you no longer use Host Surf UK services you must cancel any subscriptions outstanding immediatly. Host Surf UK cannot cancel subscription payments for you.
If at anytime your hosting becomes overdue on payment your account will be automatically suspended after being 5 days overdue. Accounts 30 days overdue will be terminated without notice and all content on the account will be deleted. If you experiance difficulty with payment please open a support ticket with our Billing Department who will be happy to assist you.
SLA Conditions
If your service drops below 99.9% uptime at anytime we will credit your account one free month. This has to be claimed within 7 days of the uptime dropping below 99.9%. All planned maintence is except from this guarantee and will be discarded. All uptime is calculated through our server status page only.
Downtime due to natural distaster or DDos attacks against the server are except from this SLA.
Usage of our Products
Whilst users continue, or intend to use Host Surf UK services, they are required to agree and follow with the following regulations. If not applied at all times, users can expect their accounts to be suspended immediately without any prior notice.Performing illegal actions from your service(s) including but not limited to: Hacking, scripting, infecting computers or servers, fraud, money laundering, breaching over’s privacy. The distribution or storage of illegal software on our servers is also not permitted. All content must have permission of the creators/developers for use on your website.The use of proxy servers or speed testing is also not permitted on our servers as it is not needed and affects the performance on our servers. You will be suspended if caught and your services will not be restored until we feel it has been fully removed. Host Surf UK reserve the right to terminate your service if found and any data lost will not be recovered.By not following any of these terms, as well as other terms set out within the TOS will result in the immediate suspension of your services. This may also require involvement of the authorities in the user's country of residence, as well as the UK authorities.
Fair Usage Policy and Unlimited Disk Space and Bandwidth
Unlimited disk space and bandwdith means there is no set limits on our packages. Host Surf UK want you to have the reseources you need to build your site without any limits.
But, however we do need to make sure we continue to provide a full active service to all our customers. As such we do require all customers to be fully compliant with our Fair Usage Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Customers on unlimited hosting packages this includes but not limited to shared hosting and reseller hosting packages. As a customer of Host Surf UK Ltd. you agrees to be subject to the following ‘fair usage’ policy:
- The account will be primarily used for the purposes of web hosting and reseller hosting. Unacceptable use include, but are not limited to, large file storage and making downloads of large files such as but not limited to media files, zipped folders and programe files. File downloads are permitted, but only in the context of a functioning website.
- The hosting account may not cause problems with performance of other hosting accounts hosted on the same server by making excessive demands on the resources of the server. This includes, but is not limited to, the CPU usage required to perform data processing on the account for the purposes of taking backups and other administrative tasks as well as the CPU usage required to actually serve the site on the hosting account.
- As a customer you agree that Host Surf UK will be determine whether an infringement of this 'fair use' policy has occurred. Wherever possible, Host Surf UK will propose alternative hosting arrangements should an infringement of this policy occur. These may include, but are not limited to, moving to a hosting plan with quoted disk space and bandwidth limits or VPS or dedicated servers.
If we identify an account that is not in compliance with our Fair Usage Policy or that has the potential to negatively impact the performance of our server, we will be required to temporarly suspend the account. If this happens we will work with the customer in order to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Content
We will not tolerate any content which is racist, prejudice, violent, malicious or obscene. Any types of hate sites including terrorist related sites will not be tolerated on our servers. Any noticed we recieve regarding hate sites on our servers, we will contact the customer hosting the content immediately. The customer will be required to remove the content within a fixed time frame or the account will be suspended or terminated.
Prohibited Usage
The following is forbidden on both shared and reseller hosting.
You agree NOT to host:
- Torrents/Key Gens/Hacks/Patches
- Nulled scripts and software
- Documents breaking UK, EU and US laws as well as the laws of the user's country of residence
- Uploading, linking to or storing warez, cracks or other pirated software.
- Assisting in or directly distributing copyrighted material.
- Using your account as a backup service. All files must be part of your website and must be linked to from your account. Dedicated server clients are excempt from this
- mp3s, audios, videos, anime, .rar files
- Providing fake or incomplete contact details, including name, postal address and telephone number.
- Using the Service to operate server programs, including, but not limited to mail servers, IRC servers, game servers, ftp servers, Web servers, or streaming audio/video servers.
- Attempting, in any way, to interfere with or deny service to any user or any host on the Internet.
- Performing a chargeback on any transactions past or present will result in account suspension until resolved. If a chargeback is issued we reserve the right to remove your account any deny any future business.
- Using the Service for mail bombing, which includes any instance where multiple messages are sent to a specific destination with the intent to render the recipient and/or the electronic system serving that recipient dysfunctional.
- Attempting to cancel, supersede, or otherwise interfere with email other than your own.
- Engaging in harassment, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages, either with email or website content.
No bill credit will be given for a period of suspension. In the event of termination of your use of the Service under this section, Host Surf UK may at its sole discretion retain any or all amounts you have paid for use of the Service as liquidated damages for your actions.
Backups
Host Surf UK run a backup once a day and holds them for 30 days, these backups are strictly for our own use in-case of a server failure. However you can also login to the backup server to restore files through your cPanel.
Please Note: This is not meant as a replacement for keeping your own backups.

- Are strictly prohibited, and users may find that their accounts will be suspended pending investigation, then eventual removal off the servers if Host Surf UK feel the need to. Resource UsageUser may not:
- Use 10% or more of system resources for longer then 60 seconds. There are numerous activities that could cause such problems; these include: CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.
- Run any type of interactive real-time chat applications that require server resources. Remotely-hosted services are fully allowed.
- Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server. This includes any and all daemons, such as IRCD.
- Run any software that interfaces with an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network.
- Run any bit torrent application, tracker, or customer.
- Participate in any file-sharing/peer-to-peer activities
- Run any gaming servers such as counter-strike, half-life, battlefield1492, etc
- Run cron entries with intervals of less than 15 minutes
You may create your own backup of your account from your control panel however these may only be stored for up to 7 days. Please download archives to a local source and remove them from your account.
SSL Certification Terms
The use of our free SSL Certification allows you to have one free certificate on your own account. SSL Certificates cannot be transferred. To use a SSL certificate you need to purchase a dedicated IP address from us that the cost of £2.00p/m. This offer only applies to all Shared Hosting and our Reseller Packages.
Host Surf UK Staff
Host Surf UK will not tolerate any abuse towards its staff. Action may be taken against people who abuse our staff. To make a complaint about a member of staff please contact us by email: abuse@hostsurfuk.com, or opening a support ticket choosing the department: "Abuse Department" all complaints will be dealt with professionally and quickly.
Delivery of Services
Immediately upon successful payment you will receive an automated receipt from our systems. Please print an retain a copy of this and retain in a safe place for future reference.Your unique customer username will be on this receipt and should be used for an enquires to Host Surf UK.All orders are delivered electronically via email, If you have any questions about your order please contact us at support@hostsurfuk.comOur trading hours are 365 Days a Year, 24/7. The services available on this site are subject to both export and or import restrictions. Please check regulations in the country you are in to see if these products are allowed for import into your country.We will not add charges to customers using either VISA or Mastercard card schemes. The final price will be the same regardless of payment method.
Promotion Terms
New and current customers are subjected to but not limited to the following promotional terms:

Cancellation Procedure
Cancellation requests must be submitted through the customer area. To do this, click the icon next to the package you wish to cancel then press 'Request Cancellation'. You must then complete and submit the form.Choosing an immediate cancellation means your service will be terminated with 24 hours of submitting the form.It is your responsibility to ensure any PayPal subscriptions you have setup are cancelled.
No other forms of cancellation are accepted.Cancellations must be submitted before the invoice for that billing cycle is due. Failure to do so will result in the invoice being due. Cancellation requests can only be submitted if the account has no due invoices.
Warranty
HOST SURF UK MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, REGARDING THE SERVICE, OR ANY SOFTWARE OR OTHER MATERIAL AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU MAY HAVE TOLD HOST SURF UK ABOUT YOUR INTENDED USE OF THE SERVICE. NO ORAL ADVICE OR INFORMATION GIVEN BY Host Surf UK OR ITS EMPLOYEES SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE ALTER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.THE SERVICE AND ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED TO YOU BY HOST SURF UKARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS, AS AVAILABLE" BASIS; HOST SURF UK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THEY WILL BE ERROR-FREE AND/OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. HOST SURF UK DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OR BACK-UP OF ANY OF YOUR DATA WHICH MAY BE STORED ON THE SERVICE.
Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be amended in any respect at any time by Host Surf UK upon the posting of the amended Terms and Conditions on the terms of use section of the Service. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed consent to any such amended Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish to continue to use the Service as a result of any such amended Terms and Conditions, you may provide notice of your wish to terminate your use of the Service to Host Surf UK.
